Educational Qualification: 1. Assistant Registrar/ Administrative Officer - The minimum educational qualification of the candidates shall be Bachelor degree in Arts/Commerce / Science of a recognized University.
2. Assistant Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) - At least high second class Bachelor Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering from a Govt. recognized technical institution with 2-3 years working experience or 3 years Diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering from Govt. recognized Institution with 10-12 years experience in Govt. Department/Semi Govt./ Autonomous institution.
3. Junior Engineer - 3(three) years Diploma in Civil/ElectricalEngineering from Govt. recognized institute with 2-3 years working experience.
4. Senior Technical Assistant/Classifier/Cataloguer - The minimum educational qualification of the candidate shall be Bachelor degree in Library and Information Science from a Govt. recognized University with knowledge of computer applications.
5. Laboratory Assistant-III - The minimum educational qualification of the candidate shall be a Bachelor Degree in Science/Home Science of a Govt. recognized University
Pay/Salary:
1. Assistant Registrar/ Administrative Officer - PB-4 Rs.12,000-40,000/- GP Rs.6,100/-
2. Assistant Engineer - PB-4 Rs.12,000-40,000/- GP Rs.5,400/-
3. Junior Engineer - PB-3 Rs.8,000-35,000/- GP Rs.4,500/-
4. Senior Technical Assistant/Classifier/Cataloguer - PB-3 Rs.8,000-35,000/- GP Rs.4,500/-
5. Laboratory Assistant-III - PB-2 Rs.5,200-20,200/- GP Rs.3,300/-
Age Limit: Age as on 01.01.2018; the minimum age of the candidate shall be 18 years and maximum age limit shall be 44 years. Relaxation of upper age limit in case of candidates belonging to the special categories and others will be given in accordance with the orders issued by the Govt. of Assam. The upper age limit in case of AAU employees will be relaxed as per AAU’s norms.
Selection: Selection will be based on interview/written test.
Application Fee: Application Fee in the form of Account Payee Bank Draft of Rs.300.00 (Rupees three hundred) only for the candidate of general category and Rs.150.00 (Rupees one hundred fifty) only in case of SC/ST /PH candidate(for the posts of Sl. No. 01-10) and Rs. 200.00 for General category and 100.00 for SC/ST/PH candidates(for the posts of Sl. No. 11-12 drawn in favour of the Registrar, AAU, payable at Jorhat-13 must be submitted along with application form.
How to Apply
Intending candidates may apply in Prescribed Form along with self attested copies of other supporting documents are to be submitted to the office of the Registrar, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat-785 013 on or before the cut of date, i.e. 15th June, 2018.
Application must be accompanied by the following:
(a) Attested copies of all certificates/mark sheets in support educational qualification, age, caste, Permanent Residence etc.
(b) Two copies of self attested recent passport size photographs.
(c) Attested copy of Employment Registration Card, if any
(d) Self addressed envelope (size 23 cm X 10 cm) affixing postal stamp of Rs.6.00 (Rupees six) only
