Educational Qualification: Master degree in any official language of the state concerned under the jurisdiction of Gauhati High Court. Proficiency in the use of Computer is necessary. due Weightage will be given to law graduates. 

Pay Scale: Rs.14,000-Rs.49,000/- + Grade pay of Rs.8,000/-

Age Limit:  
1. General (including OBC/MOBC) - 18-38 years
2. SC 18-43 years
3. ST(P) & ST(H) - 18-43 years
4. PWD - 18-48 years
 
Selection: The selection test will consist of a written examination of 100 marks of descriptive type on English Language Proficiency and Assamese Language Proficiency of two hour duration and viva-voce of 10 marks.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay examination fee as below (except PWD candidates)
1. SC/ST Candidates - Rs.150/- and 
2. For all others - Rs.300/-
